What You'll Need
- An Android phone (even an old, slow one will work).
- A stable Wi-Fi connection.
- The official Duino-Coin app (available on the Google Play Store).
- A DUCO wallet address (you can create one directly within the app).
How to Start Mining
So first of all you need to install Termux emulator in your device. ########
To install Termux emulator, i recommend you to install FDroid application in your device. #########
After installation of FDroid search for "Termux" in FDroid application. #####
Step-by-Step Script for Termux:
- Install Termux from the Google Play Store or F-Droid.
- Copy and paste the following commands one by one into the Termux terminal:
pkg update
pkg upgrade
pkg install git python -y
git clone https://github.com/revoxhere/duino-coin.git
cd duino-coin
python3 PC_Miner.py
Step 3: Configure the Miner
After running the last command, the miner will start and prompt you for information. Here is what to enter at each prompt:
Enter your Duino-Coin username:
Type the username you created during wallet registration and press Enter.
Enter your mining key: (you can set it at https://duinocoin.com/api):
For security, you can set a mining key on the official website, or just press Enter to leave it blank.
Set mining intensity: (1-100)% (recommended: 95):
Type 95 and press Enter for a good balance of performance and device safety.
Threads 8
This is auto-detected. You can usually just press Enter to accept the default value.
Donations 5
This is the default donation to the project developers. It will never reduce your income
Difficulty 3
This is auto-negotiated with the server. Just press Enter.
After this configuration, the miner will start and you should see it reporting shares and your hashrate. You're now mining!
